Cheryl

Cheryl graduated from Ambassador University in Texas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1995. She then completed an Associate of Applied Science degree at Kilgore College in Texas and became a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in 1998.


Upon graduating, Cheryl began her career as a licensed PTA at CORE Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation where she gained valuable experience in a variety of settings such as, outpatient clinic, hospital and short-term inpatient rehabilitation facility.


In 2001, Cheryl took a job with the Longview Independent School District in Longview, TX where she worked with students of all ages with a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions.


In 2002, she moved to Waterloo, Ontario with her husband and 2 sons. There, she leaned into her
personal training certification to focus on functional and post-rehabilitation training with clients. Cheryl
has been a certified NSCA (National Strength & Conditioning Association) trainer for 21 years.


After moving to Kelowna in the summer of 2022, Cheryl was very excited to join the Stride Mobile
Physiotherapy team. She gets so much joy out of meeting new people and helping clients feel their
best. Her goals are to help clients achieve improved function, strength, balance, and mobility.


In her spare time, Cheryl enjoys adventures in the beautiful Okanagan, like hiking and cross-country
skiing. She also loves working on her own personal fitness goals, playing basketball, travelling with her
husband, spending time with her dog Bauer and watching her two sons play volleyball.
