Cindy
Registered Physiotherapist
MHS, BScPT, PhD
Cindy’s passion for pelvic health physiotherapy and pelvic health research began during the final year of her physiotherapy training at Queen's University in 2005. Cindy’s training has included a long list of post-graduate clinical courses specific to pelvic and musculoskeletal health and dedicating time to pursue a Master’s degree and PhD with a focus on pelvic floor muscle activation and sensory awareness in women with stress urinary incontinence. In addition to dedicating most of her career to pelvic health, she was fortunate to have opportunities to work in the private and public sectors, facilitate chronic disease management programs, work with varsity-level athletes, and have been involved in many research projects.
Cindy’s dream was always to open a pelvic health clinic and create a space where patients could come to and feel safe, understood, and comfortable. During the pandemic, Cindy and her family moved to Kelowna. Once settled into her community, she established a premiere pelvic health clinic in Kelowna. Kelowna Pelvic Health, a division of Stride Mobile Physiotherapy, opened its doors on February 1, 2024.

My world revolves around my family and my children. We love the outdoors, especially mountain biking, hiking, skiing, golfing, and playing in the backyard. I feel blessed to live in this beautiful valley and look forward to making a difference one patient at a time.
