Leanne

Leanne grew up in Terrace, BC and moved to the Okangan in 1997. She completed the rehabilitation assistant program at Okanagan College, graduating in 2003. Since then, she has worked in public health at both Penticton and Kelowna hospitals. Leanne has worked in all areas of rehabilitation, but particularly enjoys working with physiotherapists. She loves seeing her clients achieve their goals through exercise and encouragement and really enjoys working with seniors to show them that they can do so much more than they thought they could, being one of their biggest cheerleaders! Leanne started working part time with Stride in 2019 and she enjoys seeing people in their own environments and helping them to be safe at home. Leanne is a busy mother of two wonderful children and a strong advocate against online bullying, particularly with children, and was an ambassador for Mazu. She spends her free time travelling with her family, running, biking and enjoying all of the outdoors and culture that Kelowna has to offer!
